After completing her medical degree at Cambridge with a double first class honours, Dr Rosemary trained at St. Thomas’ Medical School. She held numerous posts in London hospitals before training to be a General Practitioner in 1987.

She has been a GP in South London for 19 years, working at two different practices. Despite her media commitments, she still remains a 3/4 partner in a busy South London practice.

Outside of the consultation room, Dr Rosemary was the GP representative on the Committee on Safety of Medicines, and is now a member of the Human Genetics Commission. In both cases she works alongside some of the finest academics in the country.

She is also a member of the media advisory board to UK Clinical Research Collaboration, and a Member of the MHRA Expert Working groups on Reproductive Health; Supplementary Prescribing; and Patient Information for medicines.

Dr Rosemary was awarded an MBE for services to Healthcare in the New Years’ Honours List, 2004.

Dr Rosemary is also medical officer to Dulwich College.
